Two siblings have been killed and their parents injured in a landslide in Bonrupa area in Bandarban.
The deceased are Alif 12, and Mim, 7.
Fire Service sources said the incident took place when the family members were sleeping in their house around 3am Friday.
On information, fire rangers went to the spot and recovered the bodies of the children and sent those to Bandarban sadar hospital morgue.
Bandarban Fire Service and Civil Defence Assistant Director Abdus Sattar Mondol said: “We rescued the injured immediately after the incident.”
He also said: “Everyone should move to safe places as there is still risk of more landslides in the area.”
