At least 50,000 people are marooned in flash flood caused by torrential rain in Lama, Alikadam and Naikkhangchhari upazilas of Bandarban.
Heavy rain since Wednesday night inundated low-laying areas of the three upazilas in the district.
Road communication of Bandarban with Rangamati and Chittagong has been suspended as all the roads went under water.
Hundreds of houses were submerged by the tidal wave. Two people went missing in the flood water in Alikadam upazila.
