Two people have been killed and four others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck near Amgram bridge in Madaripur town.
The identities of the deceased could not be ascertained yet.
Locals said a bus of Eagle Poribohon collided head-on with a Tekerhat-bound truck on Dhaka-Barisal highway around 6:30am Wednesday, killing two of them on the spot while injuring four others.
The injured have been admitted to Rajoir Hospital.
Rajoir OC Anwar Hossain Bhuiyan said: “The deceased could not be identified yet but we are assuming that they are residents of some district in Barisal division.”
