Two siblings have been electrocuted at Dodaria village under Monirampur upazila in Jessore.
The deceased are Milon Hossain, 32, and his brother Shumon Hossain, 23. They were the son of Abdul Aziz.
Meanwhile, their aunt Fatema Begum and her son Shimul Hossain, 9, were injured in the incident.
Monirampur OC Molla Khobir Ahmed said: “Somehow the electric wire of Sardar Bricks, a brick field, fell in a pond. They got electrocuted when they came in contact with the live electric wire in the pond around 7:30am Sunday.”
Jessore 250-Bed General Hospital Doctor Abdullah Al Mamun said Shimul is in critical condition.
