At least 25 people have been injured in a collision between two trains at Kakina rail station in Kaliganj upazila of Lalmonirhat.
Locals said a Burimari-bound local train collided with a stationary train from Burimari at the railway station on Saturday morning, leaving 25 passengers of both trains injured.
When the incident occurred there was no gateman in the area, UNB reports quoting local people.
Train movement on the Lalmonirhat-Burimari route was suspended following the incident.
