Three people have been killed and three others injured in a head-on collision between two pickup vans in front of the Army Stadium in the capital's Banani area.
The identities of the deceased could not be ascertained yet.
Banani Sub-Inspector Saiham Sanaullah said: “Three of them died on the spot in the accident that occurred around 5:30am on Friday.”
“The injured have been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital while the bodies have been kept at the hospital's morgue,” he said.
