The members of Rapid action Battalion have detained four local criminals along with a seizable cache of firearms and ammunition from Savar's Birulia.
The RAB members seized five foreign-made pistols, one DBBL gun, six magazines and 72 rounds of bullets from their possession, said Major Maksudul Alam, assistant director of RAB's legal and media wing.
He told the Dhaka Tribune: “Detail regarding the drive will be made public at a press briefing at 5pm Monday.”
