A married couple has been killed when a truck rammed into their motorcycle at Kashembazar under Sundarganj upazila in Gaibandha.
The deceased are Motiur Rahman, 52, and his wife Asma Begum alias Afroza, 35. Motiur was the son of late Ijaj Uddin of Rangpur.
Sundarganj OC Mozzamel Hossain said: “A truck rammed into their motorbike around 11am Monday while the couple was going to Gaibandha Sadar, leaving them dead on the spot.”
He said the bodies were sent to Gaibandha Sadar Hospital morgue.
