A man has been run over by a truck in Rajshai city.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The accident took place in front of Sericulture Factory building in the city on Saturday afternoon, Boalia model police station’s office in-charge (investigation) Mahbubur Rahman told the Dhaka Tribune.
When the unidentified man, 40, was passing along the highway, a sand-laden truck hit and run over him, leaving him dead on the spot, said witnesses.
The body was sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) for autopsy, the OC said.
We are trying to identify the details of the deceased, he added.
“An unnatural death case is to be filed in this regard,” he also added.
