A total of ten students from different universities in the country have won a tour to China for excelling the “Seeds for the future” talent development programme arranged by Huawei.
Zunaid Ahmed Palak, state minister for ICT division handed over the air tickets and crests among the winners at a ceremony held at a hotel in the capital on Thursday. Zhao Haofu, CEO of Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Ltd, and Chief Operating Officer Zhangmingwen were present on the occasion.
Huawei selected the 10 winners from 500 students of five universities through a panel of judges comprising faculty members and experts from the organisation. The winners will visit Huawei headquarters in China in mid-August this year.
