Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan has reached a new landmark after he grabbed the 100th wicket at home during the third day of the one-off Test match against India.
The ace allrounder sent back Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma in quick succession during the first session of the third day at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium, Fatullah on Friday.
Dhawan lobbed an easy catch to Shakib after scoring 173 runs while he took the important wicket of Rohit Sharma in his next over.
With this, Shakib now has 103 wickets to his name at home in 28 matches.
Shakib took four Indian wickets before the players left the field as heavy rain lashed the ground on day three
His best bowling performance in an innings at home came against New Zealand in 2008. Shakib picked up seven wickets for 36 runs in 25.5 overs.
He is now top of the list with 103 wickets at home. Mohammad Rafique is second with 66 wickets he took in his career.
