At least two people have been killed and four others injured when a truck rammed into a human hauler in the district's Shibganj upazila.
The deceased are human hauler driver Mozammel Haque, 40, son of Safar Ali, of Mirzapur Bangalpara village, and Babul, 45, son of Taslim, of Namochakpara village in the upazila.
OC M M Moinul Islam of Shibganj police station, quoting witnesses, said: “Sona Masjid-bound truck rammed into the Kansat-bound human hauler near Kaylabari area, leaving the human hauler driver dead on the spot and five others injured.
Of the injured, Babul, died on the way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
