Going through some unfortunate occasions of postponing the final release, Minar’s latest solo album “Ahare” finally reached to audience’s hand. The young musician and singer unveiled his third studio album in a launching event on June 6 in the Capital.
Released on G-Series label, all the songs are penned by Minar himself except two by Anik Khan while Pavel Areen from Chirkut has composed music. Minar duets with Tahsan in a song, a rare treat for audience.
Minar, who returned to music releasing this first album in four years, said: “We tried to convey a new sound for the album. We concentrated more on acoustic sound using instruments like esraj, ukulele and twelve-string guitar.”
Talking about standard of the musician who played for the album, Minar informed that Sanjay Das, a personnel who worked with AR Rahman and Amit Tridevi, has played guitar for two of the songs including “Ahare.”
Earlier, the album title track “Ahare” got released last year via some radio and TV which went viral.
