A sugarcane trader has been crushed under the wheels of a train in Hatia area under Kalihati upazila of Tangail.
The deceased is Rabiul Islam, 38, son of Abu Bakar of Gaibandha.
Bangabandhu bridge east police station OC Akheruzzaman said the incident took place around 4:30am Friday.
Police recovered the body around 11:30am.
