The proposed national budget for the fiscal 2015-16 has set an Annual Development Programme (ADP) with an outlay of Tk97,000 crore.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith has proposed the allocation in the national budget placed before the parliament on Thursday afternoon.
Contribution of autonomous bodies in this budget is Tk. 3,996.92 crore.
However, the size of ADP stands at Tk. 100,996 crore.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith has placed annual budget proposal around Tk2.95tn (Tk295,100 crore) for 2015-16 fiscal year.
The budget size of Tk2.95tn would be 18% higher than the outgoing fiscal year’s original budget of Tk2.5tn and 22.19% higher than the revised budget of Tk2.4tn.
