Advocate Khalid Yahyea, lecturer of law at Bangladesh University, has been honoured with Human Rights Award 2015 for his contribution to the promotion and protection of the human rights at both national and international levels.
Dr Md Shahjahan, convener of Federation of Bangladesh Human Rights Organisations, handed over a crest and a certificate to Khalid at a award ceremony organised by the Centre for Human Rights Movement, a leading government registered human rights organisation.
