“As democracy is at stake, the challenge is to reform the party and bring back democracy. To do so we have to do clean politics following the ideology of late president Ziaur Rahman."
Restoring democracy in the country after reorganising the party is the main challenge of the BNP, said the party’s standing committee member Moudud Ahmed.
“Bangladesh needs to accelerate its investment to GDP at least 38% from the existing 28% to achieve the middle-income country status.”
DCCI President Hossain Khaled underscored the need for more investment to become middle-income country by 2021.
