Two students have been electrocuted when they came in contact with live wires in Gopinathpur and Muksudpur upazilas.
The deceased are Lijon Kha, 20, student of Government Bangabandhu College; and Arif, student of Char Prasannadi Madrasa.
Gopinathpur police outpost SI Idris Ali said Lijon was electrocuted while he was repairing an electric wire at his house on Thursday evening.
Siddhirghat police SI Abdus Salam said Arif got electrocuted while trying to collect ball from the roof of a tin-shed house on Thursday morning.
