A woman has been killed in an attack by a wild elephant in Keruntali Ghonarpara area under Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar.
The deceased is Rahima Khatun, 35, wife of Abdul Jalil.
Hoaikang UP Chairman Haji Jalal Ahmed said the elephant attacked Rahima around 6am Sunday, leaving her dead on the spot.
