Meena Sweets launched its new Panthapath outlet with a new and improved range of items in all other branches through fanfare and a colourful inauguration programme yesterday.
The newly launched Meena Sweets and Confectioneries Limited, a sister concern of Gemcon Group, was inaugurated by Ameenah Ahmed, a director of Gemcon.
Kazi Anis Ahmed, Director and Chief Strategy Officer of Gemcon, was also present along with prominent singer Fahmida Nabi, high officials of Gemcon Group and their other concerns.
“Step by step we have come a long way with Meena Bazar. Now Meena Sweets started a journey on its own and I hope it will also achieve success,” said Ameenah Ahmed.
Kazi Anis Ahmed said: “After discontinuing Meena Sweets temporarily, a large number of regular customers expressed dissatisfaction. However, it was done to improve the quality and range of our products.” He also said Meena Sweets is famous for freshness, hygiene, and quality of its products.
Apart from the new standalone outlet in Panthapath and its seven branches in Meena Bazar, Meena Sweets will also take online orders through www.upoharbd.com and deliver all over Bangladesh.
