Three women were killed when a bus ran them over at Bhaberchar in Gazaria upazila of Munshiganj.
The deceased are Hamis Begum, 45, wife of Md Wadud of Comilla, Omulya Das Kanon, 35, of Comilla and Rahima Begum, 40, wife of Dulal Hosen of Gazaria upazila.
Bhaberchar police out-post In-Charge Sub-Inspector Md Ashraful said: “Two of them died on the spot in the accident on Wednesday morning. Rahima died on the way to the hospital.”
The SI said police are trying to identify the bus.
