Rapid Action Battalion has detained three members of a human trafficking gang from the capital's Fakirapool area on Thursday evening.
Captain Maksudul Alam, assistant director of RAB's Legal and Media Wing, told the Dhaka Tribune: “Acting on a tip-off, we conducted the drive and arrested three members of a human trafficking gang along with fake travel documents.”
“We also have rescued seven victims from the spot. Detail information will be made public at a press briefing in a short time.”
