A college student has been killed in a clash between two groups over a land dispute at Uttar Kalshi of Mirpur in the capital.
The deceased, Abdur Rahman Chanchal, was a student of Bangabandhu College in Mirpur.
DMCH police outpost In-charge Mozammel Haque told the Dhaka Tribune that two groups were locked in a clash, centering on a dispute over ownership of a piece of land, at around 12:30pm, leaving four people injured.
The injured were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where Chanchal died of his injuries at around 1:15pm, said the police official.
The three other injured are Raju, Shahin and Mohammad Ali.
