A college girl has been died after her scarf trapped with an auto rickshaw wheel near police station area of Natore municipality on Tuesday morning.
The deceased is Bulbuli Khatun, 20, a second year student at Nawab Siraj-ud-Doula Degree College.
Bulbuli's father Lokman Hossein said, Bulbuli was returning home from Madrasha crossing area by an auto rickshaw around 11am.
Suddenly, a part of her scarf rapped with her throat while the other part stuck with a wheel of the rickshaw and she fell down on the road.
Later, locals rushed Bulbuli to Sadar Hospital, where on duty doctors declared her dead.
Abul Kalam Azad, a residential doctor of Sadar Hospital confirmed her death to the Dhaka Tribune.
