Noted nuclear scientist and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s husband Dr MA Wazed Miah had dreamt of an economically and technologically advanced country to make the sense of independence meaningful to its citizens.
Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr AKM Nurun Nabi made the statement after placing floral wreaths at the grave of Dr Wazed in Fatehpur village on his sixth death anniversary yesterday.
He offered prayers seeking peace for the eternal soul and well being of the PM, their only son Sajeeb Wazed Joy, daughter Sayma Wajed Putul and other family members.
