A total of 45 police officers have been promoted to the post of superintendent of police.
The Home Ministry issued a circular in this regard yesterday, undersigned by the ministry’s Joint Secretary (police) ASM Imdadul Dastagir.
Of them, 42 were promoted from the post of additional superintendent, and three were promoted from the post of acting superintendent.
On April 7, as many as 134 police officers were promoted to the posts of additional deputy inspector general and additional superintendent of police.
Of them, 21 were promoted to the post of additional DIG and 113 to the post of additional superintendent.
