Many of the thousands of people who queued up at the Kamalapur Railway Station said they had been there since Tuesday night. Those who finally managed to buy tickets, came out triumphantly.
Advance tickets for July 1 are being sold on Wednesday. Tickets for July 2 will be available on Thursday. One person can buy maximum four non-refundable tickets.

Tickets for travelling on July 3, 4 and 5 can be procured on June 24, 25 and 26 respectively. Similarly, return tickets for July 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 will be available on July 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.
A large number of law enforcement agency members have been deployed at the station to avert any untoward incident.
