The identities of the injured could not be ascertained yet.
Locals said a Dhaka-bound bus of Shubhojatra Poribohon rammed into a roadside tree as its driver lost his control over the steering on Dhaka-Aricha highway around 9am on Thursday, leaving 20 people injured.
Savar model police station Senior ASP Mahbubur Rahman said: “On information, police went to the spot and rescued the injured. They have been sent to different hospitals.”
