Bangladeshi youths to join WEF annual meeting 2017

They will be the first Bangladeshi youths to represent Bangladesh at the annual meeting of the forum at Davos in 2017, said a post published on the Facebook page of Dhaka Hub, Global Shapers. The duo will participate in the summit titled ‘Responsive and Responsible Leadership’ in Switzerland from January 17-20 next year. Dhaka is the only city globally to have two representatives at the biggest economic meeting in the world, the post added. Forty-eight other Global Shapers from different Hubs across the world will take part in the forum along with them. Saif Kamal was the former curator of the Dhaka Hub of Global Shapers while Sohara Mehroze Shachi is the current vice curator.  Since 2011, fifty Global Shapers get together with the most influential people in the world and help shape a better world. At the WEF Annual Meeting, Global Shapers They will engage in a variety of activities and interact with important leaders across different stakeholder communities, sharing the voice of the youth to shape the agenda across national, regional and global issues.
