The British Council, the UK’s international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations, will resume its offices in Bangladesh on Monday after a two-month temporary closure.
It will start its all public-facing operations and services in Chittagong, Sylhet and Dhaka, said a press release issued on Sunday.
On July 27, British Council Bangladesh closed all its offices in Bangladesh temporarily to review security procedures and announced to reopen soon once new security measures are in place.
According to the release, registration for the Pearson Edexcel Examinations in January 2017 session has started from September 22 and ends on October 13, 2016.
School candidates are requested to contact their school for a unique school candidate registration link. Moreover, private candidates can apply through British Council website www.britishcouncil.org.bd. This is for all candidates in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Dinajpur, Rajshahi and Khulna.
IELTS candidates can register online for the dates of October and November 2016 at ielts.britishcouncil.org, it said, adding that the British Council’s English language classes for term 4 will start from October 12.
