ZCOMMERZ, an e-commerce enablement platform powered by SSLCOMMERZ, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Rajshahi Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RWCCI) to onboard 400 chamber members onto its platform.
The signing ceremony was held in Rajshahi as part of an initiative to expand digital-commerce opportunities for women entrepreneurs beyond the capital.
ZCOMMERZ has also partnered with the Natore Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NWCCI), onboarding 300 of its members onto the platform.
Bangladesh’s digital-commerce ecosystem has more than 300,000 Facebook-based and online businesses, with an estimated 50% operated or co-owned by women.
ZCOMMERZ enables entrepreneurs to establish and manage online stores without coding or technical knowledge. The platform offers product catalogs, order and fulfillment management, customized store links and secure digital payments through SSLCOMMERZ.
The partnership brings RWCCI’s institutional reach together with SSLCOMMERZ’s technology to provide members with professional digital stores and management tools, allowing them to expand beyond local markets.
Raiyan S. Islam, CEO of SSLCOMMERZ, said: “Being the largest online payment enabler of the country, we have a role to play in building a Bangladesh that is digitally savvy, transactionally liberating, and forward-looking. Our long-proven capabilities and cutting-edge innovation brought the answer in a merchant-friendly solution like ZCOMMERZ. We are delighted to onboard RWCCI as a partner in this journey.”
Rosettee Najneen, president of RWCCI, said: “For our members, this is a turning point. Many of our women entrepreneurs have built their businesses on determination alone, without the digital tools to grow beyond their immediate markets. With ZCOMMERZ, they gain a professional storefront, secure payments, and the confidence to sell nationwide. We are proud to bring this opportunity to the women of Rajshahi.”
The signing was followed by a digital-business capacity-building session covering online store creation, product catalog optimization, order tracking, local delivery management, secure digital payments, online-selling safety, and promotion and customer engagement through Facebook and WhatsApp.
Participants also received a live demonstration of ZCOMMERZ and one-on-one onboarding support.
