Global INFRAESTATE Conclave 2026 held in Dhaka

Stakeholders discussed sustainability, housing, technology and investment at the event organized by Arena for Global Engagement Limited

The Fresh Cement Presents Global INFRAESTATE Conclave 2026 was held on Saturday at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel in Dhaka, bringing together stakeholders from the infrastructure, real estate, investment and urban development sectors.

Organized by Arena for Global Engagement Limited (AGE), the conclave was held under the theme “Building Future Cities through Innovation, Sustainability and Global Collaboration.”

Government and private-sector representatives, real estate professionals, financial institutions, urban planners, academics, technology companies and international investors participated in the event.

The discussions focused on developing an integrated real estate ecosystem in Bangladesh by connecting technology, policy, urban planning, environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations and access to capital.

Fresh Cement of MGI was the title sponsor, while GM Holdings Ltd of Deshbondhu Group was the Powered by Partner and Premium Homes Limited was the Gold Sponsor. Daffodil International University was the Knowledge Partner and PropTechBuzz the Strategic Partner.

Ekushey Television, Property Khobor and The Business Standard were media partners, while Lifestraw by OMC was the hydration partner. Several organizations also participated as co-sponsors.

The conclave featured 4 sessions focusing on sustainable development and ESG, the global real estate outlook, affordable housing, and the transition from property-focused development to a broader urban ecosystem.

The first session examined green buildings, net-zero development and climate-resilient infrastructure. The second focused on AI-powered property valuation, digital marketing, cybersecurity in smart buildings, international market trends and investment opportunities in Asia.

The third session discussed housing finance, public housing, inclusive urban development and affordable housing policies. The fourth, titled “From Property to Ecosystem,” explored local economic investment, macroeconomic changes, urbanization, demographic trends and international investment opportunities.

Keynote presentations were delivered by Shadman Sakib Anik of ESG Institute Bangladesh, Sopon Pronchokchai of the FIABCI Thai Chapter, FR Khan of Ananta and BTI, and Tanvir Shahriar Rimon of ACI Properties.

The sessions were chaired by Ashraful Islam of Rajuk, Clayton Wade of Premier Homes RE Co Ltd, Shamim Z Bosunia of BUET and Humaira Azam of LankaBangla Finance.

Speakers emphasized that sustainable growth in Bangladesh’s real estate sector would require coordinated efforts from the government, developers, investors, financial institutions, planners, technology companies, academia and international stakeholders.

The conclave provided a platform for knowledge exchange, networking and exploring opportunities for cross-border collaboration in real estate and infrastructure development.

AGE Chairman Syed Iqbal Rizvi delivered the welcome address, while AGE Advisor MKA Shahinoor Rahman Jahid delivered the vote of thanks.
