UTMB-certified ultra-trail runner Imamur Rahman competed in the 100km category of the Ultra-Trail Great Wall by UTMB race at Dajingmen in Beijing, China, on September 12, 2026.
More than 5,000 athletes from around the world took part in the competition, which featured 100km, 70km, 50km and 20km categories.
Rahman competed in the 100km category alongside 863 athletes. The course featured mountainous terrain and a total elevation gain of 4,400 meters.
The race also involved significant temperature changes. Daytime temperatures in Beijing reached nearly 32°C, while nighttime temperatures dropped to 5–6°C.
Rahman also carried the Bangladeshi flag along the trails of the Great Wall of China during the race.
