The government has transferred four Superintendents of Police (SPs) as part of a reshuffle in Bangladesh Police.
The Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notification in this regard on Sunday.
According to the notification, Hassan Mohammad Naser Rikabdar, SP of Bagerhat, has been transferred to Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) as a deputy commissioner.
Mohammad Ruhul Kabir Khan, SP of Chuadanga, has also been transferred to the DMP as a deputy commissioner.
Md Jamirul Islam, currently serving at Police Headquarters, has been appointed SP of Bagerhat while Mehedi Shahriar, SP at the Special Branch, has been transferred to Chuadanga.
The order, issued in the public interest, will take effect immediately.
