Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Monday forecasted rain in different parts of the country in next 24 hours commencing 9am.
"Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Khulna & Barishal divisions," said a Met office bulletin.
Besides, it said that moderately heavy to heavy falls may occur in places over the country.
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.
