Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-2) conducted an operation at Geneva Camp in Mohammadpur, Dhaka, on Thursday night, arresting three individuals along with firearms, sharp weapons, and drugs.
According to a press release issued by RAB-2 on Friday, the operation was carried out based on confidential information.
An operational team from RAB-2 conducted the raid at the camp late Thursday night.
RAB-2 stated that the seized items included one locally made pistol, seven machetes (samurai), 180 grams of heroin, 2 kilograms of cannabis, and 60 Yaba tablets.
The arrested individuals were taken into custody, and legal proceedings are underway.
The press release also mentioned that RAB-2 will continue such operations in the future after proper verification and intelligence analysis.
