Under the new decision, fuel products will now be supplied from depots daily between 7:00am and 3:00pm

Update : 28 Mar 2026, 07:55 PM

Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) has revised the schedule for fuel distribution from depots to ensure a steady supply across the country amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

Under the new decision, fuel products will now be supplied from depots daily between 7:00am and 3:00pm.

The information was disclosed in a press release issued by the Energy Division on Saturday.

According to the statement, instability in the global energy market has emerged due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. In response, the Energy and Mineral Resources Division, along with BPC, has taken measures to maintain uninterrupted fuel supply nationwide through marketing companies.

The release further stated that the new schedule has been introduced to ensure more organized and efficient fuel distribution at all filling stations, packed point dealers, and pumps across the country.

Previously, dealers were allowed to collect fuel from depots between 9:00am and 5:00pm. Under the revised schedule, distribution will begin two hours earlier and conclude two hours earlier than before.
