On the occasion of National Education Week 2026, educational institutions operated by the Bangladesh Army achieved remarkable success at the national level, continuing their tradition of excellence.
Army-run schools and colleges, along with their principals, teachers, and students, demonstrated outstanding performance across multiple categories, upholding their distinction, according to a press release from the Inter Services Public Relation Directorate (ISPR) on Thursday.
Among this year’s notable achievements, Adamjee Cantonment Public School was selected as the Best Educational Institution (School) at the national level, while Jalalabad Cantonment Public School and College secured the Second-Best Educational Institution (School) award.
Lt Col Bayezid Mohammad Tarek Junaid, principal of Adamjee Cantonment Public School, earned the prestigious recognition of Best Head of Educational Institution (School). Meanwhile, Lt Col Syed Shafiul Islam Meraj, principal of Cantonment Public School and College, Saidpur, was selected as the Second Best Head of Educational Institution (College).
Additionally, Md Abdul Baten, a teacher at Adamjee Cantonment College, received the Best BNCC Teacher award.
Out of a total of 261 awards across 109 categories, principals, teachers, and students of Bangladesh Army–operated institutions secured 45 awards this year, reflecting their dedication, perseverance, regular practice, and continuous efforts.
The Bangladesh Army said it will continue to work with unwavering commitment to enhance overall progress and quality in the national education system.
