BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman visited his mother, Khaleda Zia at the Evercare Hospital in the capital on Sunday night.
Tarique Rahman arrived at the hospital around 11:30pm and after seeing his mother and inquiring about her treatment, he left Evercare Hospital at 12:08am on Monday.
BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the information to the media.
Earlier in the evening, Tarique Rahman’s wife, Dr Zubaida Rahman, arrived at the hospital at 8:23pm.
Ten minutes later, Tarique Rahman’s mother-in-law, Iqbal Mand Banu, also reached the hospital.
Khaleda Zia’s elder sister, Selina Islam, visited the hospital as well on the same day.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia was admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital on November 23.
As her physical condition deteriorated, she was shifted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) for treatment.
A medical board comprising local and foreign specialist doctors, led by Professor Shahabuddin Talukder, is overseeing her treatment.
Earlier, after returning to the country from London on December 25, following 17 years of exile, BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman rushed to the hospital to see his mother.
He also visited her on Saturday after completing a series of programs throughout the day.
