Three crude bombs exploded in front of Mirpur’s Pallabi police station on Wednesday.
The incident took place at around 9am.
SI Alfaz Ahmed, the duty officer at the station, told Dhaka Tribune that they had received reports of the explosions. However, he could not confirm exactly how many crude bombs went off.
He said an investigation is underway to identify those responsible.
Meanwhile, the incident triggered panic across the area.
No casualties have been reported.
