Water levels at 17 river stations monitored by the Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked a rise, while 95 stations recorded a fall.
Among the 116 monitored river stations, water levels at four stations have remained steady, and no stations are flowing above the danger level, according to a bulletin issued by the FFWC on Saturday.
The water level of all major rivers is flowing below the danger level, the bulletin stated.
The water level of the Brahmaputra-Jamuna rivers is decreasing.
This trend may continue for the next three days, remain steady for the subsequent two days, and is expected to stay below the danger level.
The water level of the Ganges-Padma rivers is also decreasing.
This trend may continue for the next five days and is expected to remain below the danger level.
The water levels of the Surma and Kushiyara rivers are decreasing as well.
This trend may persist for the next three days and continue to flow below the danger level.
