Return flights for Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims begin Tuesday

A total of 87,157 Bangladeshis performed Hajj this year

Following the conclusion of all rituals of the holy Hajj, Bangladeshi pilgrims have begun preparing to return home from Saudi Arabia, with return flights starting on Tuesday and continuing until July 10.

According to reports, a total of 87,157 Bangladeshis performed Hajj this year.

Among them, 19 pilgrims have passed away.

During the Hajj season, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior shut down 436 fake Hajj agencies and arrested 462 individuals for violating the law.

Meanwhile, 188 Bangladeshi pilgrims have received medical treatment in Saudi Arabia so far this year.

Additionally, 19 are currently admitted to government hospitals in the country.

This year, Hajj was observed on June 5. 

The first flight carrying Bangladeshi pilgrims to Saudi Arabia departed on April 29, and the last flight departed on May 31.
