Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed is scheduled to present the national budget for the fiscal year 2025-26 before the nation at 3pm on Monday.
The pre-recorded budget speech will now be broadcast at the newly announced time instead of the earlier scheduled 4pm, by Bangladesh Television (BTV) and Bangladesh Betar, according to a handout.
In addition, all private television channels and radio stations are requested to telecast and broadcast the budget speech simultaneously by taking the feed from BTV, to ensure wider coverage of the national budget.
