Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed will unveil the national budget for the fiscal year 2025-2026 on Monday.
This will be the country’s 54th budget and the first under the Dr Muhammad Yunus-led interim government.
Tajuddin Ahmed presented the country’s first budget as the finance minister of the post-independence government in 1972.
The FY26 budget will be the maiden budget of the finance adviser, who is also serving as the adviser for the Ministry of Science and Technology.
