Two young men were reportedly beaten to death in the Ahmednagar area in Mirpur, Dhaka.
Their identities have yet to be confirmed, but police estimate they were between 20 and 25 years old.
The incident took place around 12:30pm on Saturday.
Darussalam police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rakibul Hossain confirmed the information to the media.
According to him, the two were beaten to death in the Haddipatti area near the embankment in Ahmednagar. Police are working to identify the victims. Senior officers have visited the scene, and efforts are underway to determine the motive behind the killings.
The OC added that the bodies will be sent for autopsy after completing legal formalities.
