A visit to the capital’s Kamalapur Railway Station showed that passengers began gathering at the station from early morning. The station premises became bustling with thousands of people eager to celebrate Eid with their loved ones.

Talking to passengers at the station revealed that most of them are students and professionals heading to their hometowns to enjoy the Eid holidays.

Bangladesh Railway officials stated that all necessary preparations have been made to ensure smooth and safe Eid travel. Each train was brought to Dhaka the night before and is departing on schedule.
