Rain or thundershowers accompanied by lightning and temporary gusty winds are likely to hit a few places in Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and one or two places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said on Wednesday.
Hail may also occur at isolated places, the BMD's bulletin added.
A trough of low pressure lies over West Bengal and adjoining areas, while a seasonal low persists over the South Bay, according to the BMD.
Day and night temperatures across the country are expected to remain nearly unchanged.
In Dhaka, Wednesday's sunset is expected at 6:20pm, while Thursday's sunrise is expected at 5:36am.
The highest temperature recorded was 35.8°C in Feni under Chittagong division, while the lowest was 19.6°C in Tetulia of Rangpur division.
