An earthquake was felt in various parts of the country, including the capital, Dhaka, on Friday.
The earthquake occurred at around 4:52pm, according to meteorologist Golam Mostafa of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
He said the magnitude of the earthquake was 4 on the Richter scale.
He further mentioned that the epicenter was around Brahmanbaria, located 105 kilometers from Dhaka. "We are still working on the matter."
Many people posted about the earthquake on Facebook. However, no reports of damage have been received.
