Bangladesh has sent emergency medicines and relief supplies to the victims of the devastating earthquake in Myanmar.
On Saturday afternoon, these supplies and medicines were sent via an Army Aviation aircraft.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), following the instructions of the Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus, Bangladesh has sent urgent relief materials, including medicines, tents, dry food, and medical teams, to Myanmar through the Bangladesh Armed Forces, led by the Bangladesh Army.
ISPR further said that initially, on Saturday, at 12:30pm, a CASA C-295W aircraft from Army Aviation departed from the Kurmitola Airbase of the Bangladesh Air Force, carrying emergency relief supplies to Yangon, Myanmar.
