Rain and thundershowers, accompanied by lightning flashes and temporary gusty winds, are expected to occur at one or two places over the Rangpur, Rajshahi, and Khulna divisions in the coming hours, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department’s (BMD) latest weather bulletin on Monday.
The weather conditions are likely to bring brief, intense spells of rainfall, with the possibility of lightning, the bulletin said.
Alongside the showers, temporary gusty winds may also affect these regions, potentially causing disruptions, it said.
Day temperature was predicted to rise slightly, while the night temperature was expected to experience a slight decrease across the country, the bulletin added.
